Wireless internet can often be purchased at a discounted price when you also purchase (bundle) home phone, mobile phone, and/or television service from the same provider. My wife and I got AT&T wireless internet bundled together with AT&T U-verse digital television service. We used to have internet and home phone from one company, and television from another.  When a better deal came along we dropped the home phone landline (saved a bundle) and got wireless internet together with television and also saved some money. We now have more television channels and the same internet service and are happy with what we have.Is a bundle right for you? If you're considering a wireless bundle there are a few things you should think about before you buy. This is how to pick what is right for you... How long does the price last? Often bundled services will have a discounted "teaser" price that runs for 6 months to a year, sometimes longer. After the initial period you will be bumped up to the regular price if such a teaser price is in effect. You might find that when you do the math you aren't really saving at all, just deferring the cost to a later date. Do you really save if you don't pay $100 now but end up paying it later? What is included in the deal? If you are getting wireless internet with any other service, find out what equipment is needed and does it come with the package? Also check the teaser prices on not just the service but the equipment. Is the modem free now but cost you monthly later?  Sometimes an installation charge will wipe out any savings you may realize by getting a wireless bundle. The best bundled deals include free installation if it's needed. What would it cost separately? If you don't know how much it would normally cost you, you won't know how much you are saving. Don't rely on the company to tell you how much you save. Savings are based on having certain levels of service that you may not have, so figure your savings based on your services. Read the fine print and know what you are getting before you sign. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions and then think about it some more. Don't wait, order now! Most companies use a limited time offer to get you to take action quickly. If you want it you have to act now. I say take your time and do your homework first! Even if you can't take advantage of a great wireless bundle now another great deal will be coming soon. I jumped when a great wireless bundle came along and I would probably do the same again. I did my homework and it was a great deal for us. I now have more television choices with the same internet and we're saving money every month. We will still be saving later when the teaser introductory price bumps up to regular price. Now that's a great wireless bundle! Bottom line, make sure you fully understand the deal before you accept it.
