Phones:
Verizon offers 23 smart phones in my zip code including the Palm Pre Plus, the Palm Pixi Plus, the Droid, and the Blackberry Storm. This is another provider who has multiple smartphones I've love to carry or at least try.
It's debatable which smartphone is there best seller, but if you ask Blackberry, it's the Storm. No matter what you want your smartphone to do you are sure to find one that does that in Verizon's selection.
Apps:
Verizon has a nice media store. Apps, music, tones, games, wallpapers, and more. Check out the Verizon Media Store and see what you can do with Verizon wireless internet.
I think the Verizon wireless internet network is one of their strengths and why I gave them serious consideration as my own wireless provider. They have a large 3G network which means you can get coverage in more places. I like to travel and stay connected so this feature appeals to my needs.
There is a very nice 3G network comparison chart you can get here from Verizon Wireless.
Verizon's networks include CDMA2000 1x and EV-DO / LTE (Pre-4G). If you need to know what that means go here.
USB Modems:
Verizon offers Netbooks with mobile broadband, usb modems, PC Cards, and ExpressCard. They all have the MiFi mobile hotspot device that enables shared wifi.
